Explore the Wines of Italy Glass by Glass: This Italian Wine Scholar Prep program is the perfect foundation for the world of Italian Wine.
Join us on a wine-focused journey through Italy, learning about legendary wines, foods, landmarks and cultural attractions as you “travel.” Designed by Wine Scholar Guild for wine enthusiasts and aspiring professionals, this three-session course provides an introduction to Italy, explores its key wine regions and delivers core information on 39 of the country's need-to-know wines.

Wine is included in this program. Students will taste over 20 Italian wines to bring learning objectives to life and practice your tasting techniques. All wines are selected by Sommelier Christian Esser and our instructors to represent a broad sampling of the classic wines of Italy.
Assesment
Italian Wine Scholar Prep exam is 45-minutes long and consists of 50 multiple choice questions.
The IWS Prep Certificate will be issued to those individuals who achieve a score of 60 or higher.
